BANA’s Community Spirit Shines Bright: A Hub for Health and Humanity During COVID

The Baltimore Association of Nepalese in America (BANA) continues to prove that community well-being is at the heart of its mission. In a remarkable display of dedication, BANA has converted its own Community Resource Center into a COVID Vaccination Clinic, offering essential vaccinations to Maryland residents on three separate occasions.

BANA is proud to announce its partnership with the Maryland Department of Health, solidifying its role in supporting public health efforts. The BANA Community Resource Center, situated at 2906 Taylor Ave, Parkville, MD 21234, has become a vital location for COVID vaccinations.

The clinic, hosted in collaboration with the Maryland Department of Health, has already provided the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine to countless individuals through a mobile unit. The impact of this initiative on the health and safety of the community cannot be overstated, and BANA is honored to be a part of this vital endeavor.

But BANA’s contributions during the pandemic didn’t stop at vaccinations. The organization also transformed its building into a food bank, providing much-needed sustenance to local families. In addition, BANA’s volunteers went the extra mile by delivering groceries to numerous households, exemplifying the true spirit of community support.

BANA’s unwavering commitment to community building, unity, and equipping individuals to overcome challenges remains the driving force behind its actions. The organization extends its gratitude to the Maryland Department of Health for their partnership in these critical initiatives.

If you’re yet to receive your COVID-19 vaccination, don’t hesitate to visit BANA’s Community Resource Center. Join the many Maryland residents who have already taken this crucial step toward a safer, healthier future.
