]]>In a collaborative effort with the Baltimore County Health Department, BANA recently conducted a three-month ALL STAR CHARACTER Education program for fourth and fifth-grade students (ages 9-11). This initiative brought together young learners from various parts of Baltimore County, aiming to promote public health by preventing alcohol, marijuana, and other drug use among children and adolescents.
The program’s success lies in its utilization of evidence-based prevention strategies, reducing behavioral health risk factors while advocating for policy changes and compliance with local laws to ensure the safety of Baltimore County’s youth. We are proud to have received sponsorship from the Baltimore County Department of Health for this crucial endeavor.

प्रतियोगिताका नियमहरु (Tournament Rules)
१, खेल अमेरिकी भलिबल संघको नियम अनुसार खेलाईने छ ।
1. The game will be played according to the rules of USA Volleyball
२, लिग चरणको खेलमा बिजेता टोलिले २ र बराबरी भएमा समान १ अंक प्राप्त गर्ने छ । लिगको अन्तमा अंक बराबर भएमा खेलको नम्बर भिन्नताको आधारमा अर्कों चरणको लागि छनोट गरिनेछ ।
2. During the league stage, winning teams will get 2 points and drawing teams will get 1. If the points are equal at the end of the league stage, the team with less score difference will advance to the next round.
३, समुह चरणदेखिनै खेलाडिहरुको पोसाक समान कलर तथा लिब्रोको फरक कलर अनिवार्य छ ।
3. From the group stage, teams must wear the same jersey, except the libero, who must wear a different jersey.
४, अमपाएर (रेफ्री) को निर्णयनै अन्तिम निर्णय हुनेछ । रेफ्रीलाई कुनै दुर्व्यवहार भएमा सचेत, पहेलो र रातो कार्ड सम्म दिईने छ ।
4. The umpire’s decision is the final decision. Misconduct towards the ref will be subject to warning, yellow, or red card.
५, खेलको लिग चरणको २, नक आउट ३ र फाईनल ५ सेटको हुनेछ ।
5. The game will be 2 sets of league stage, 3 knockouts, and 5 sets of finals.
६, खेलको क्रममा कुनै चोटपटक लागेमा खेलाडि वा टोलि आफै ज़िम्मेवार हुनुपर्नेछ ।
6. The respective players/teams are responsible for any injuries during the tournament.
७, तोकिएको समय सिमाको १० मिनेट भित्र खेल मैदानमा खेलाडि/टोलि उपस्थित हुन नसके प्रतियोगिताबाट बाहिरिएको मानिनेछ ।
7. If a team/player fails to appear within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, the team will be disqualified.
८, एक टोलि वा टिमका सबै खेलाडिहरु सोहि राज्य/स्टेट भित्रको हुनुपर्नेछ र अनिवार्य नेपालि बोल्न सक्ने हुनुपर्नेछ ।
8. All players of a team must be from the same country/state and must be able to speak Nepali.
९, खेलको पोजिशन अथवा खेलाडि हेरफेर गर्नु परेमा टोलि प्रमुख र रेफ्री बीच सल्लाह गरि निर्णय गरिनेछ ।
9. If the position of the game or player has to be changed, the decision will be made in consultation between the team manager/captain and the referee.
१०, प्रत्येक खेलमा १ टोलिले बढीमा २ पटकसम्म अतिरिक्त समय माग गर्न सक्नेछन ।
10. Each team may request 2 extra time max. per game.
११, खेल इनडोर भएकाले यदि कसैले कोभिड १९ को भ्याकसिन नलगाएको भए माक्स अनिवार्य छ ।
11. Since the tournament will take place indoors, any person (including participants) that is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required to wear a mask.
१२, एक टिममा खेल प्रशिक्षक सहित बढीमा ११ जनाको नाम (९ जना खेलाडी,१ जना टीम कोच,१ जना म्यानेजर) दर्ता गर्न पाईने छ र खेल पुर्ब स्टेट आईडि वा बसोबासको प्रमाण देखाउनु पर्नेछ ।
12. One team can register a maximum of 11 persons (9 players, 1 coach, and 1 team manager). Each person must show proof of state ID or residency prior to the start of the tournament.
१३, खेलमा अनुशासन महत्वपूर्ण छ, कुनै अपशब्द बोल्न पाईने छैन । खेल चलिरहदा कुनै विवाद आएमा आयोजकको निर्णयलाई अन्तिम निर्णय मानिनेछ
13. Discipline is important in the game. No swearing is allowed. If there is any dispute during the tournament, the decision of the tournament organizer is considered the final decision.
